Review: Awesome series! - This is book #2 in the series- i would highly recommend reading book #1 first before reading this gem. The critter club is a fantastic beginner chapter book for new readers. I would probably level this book at beginning second grade or level J- The chapters are short and to the point, language is simple but has a few challenging words. This book is easy to comprehend- a must have series if your child is beginning to read!
Review: Great series to read with a new reader - My 6 year old is an emerging reader so we read this book together (as well as Book 1 in the series). She stays engaged in the story and "gets" the lessons being imparted. I am hoping she rereads them in a year or two on her own. We're looking forward to reading Book 3 together.

This is book #2 in the series- i would highly recommend reading book #1 first before reading this gem. The critter club is a fantastic beginner chapter book for new readers.
