For anyone struggling to find the charging port it’s actually on the outside under the small blue strap, see pic. This is also where the light button is too. I was looking inside under the sole and found the compartment just like the other review which had nothing but wires and probably the rechargeable battery. Almost returned them until I accidentally clicked the light button looking for it and the charging port like crazy everywhere. Hope this helps others.Update: True to size and really nice when worn and lights are on. My daughter receives compliments and looks from kids and adults alike. She really likes them.
