The plastic part that I've previously had issues with is made with a different kind of plastic and this one seems harder so I'm hopeful it'll hold up better.The buckle is just as nice and the metal clasps that hold the device to the band seem like they get a hardier hold on the device than the FitBit band did. These bands are a bit harder and a little less flexible than the FitBit original but they're still comfortable to wear and sleep with on and I imagine they'll become more flexible as time goes on.Overall I'm very pleased. If any issues come up overtime I'll edit my review. So far I highly recommend these if you're looking for a cheaper replacement for your FitBit Alta bands! ### ⭐⭐ get what you pay for *by C***T on Reviewed in the United States on April 22, 2019* I guess this gets the job done, since fitbit won't sell their own replacement bands, but you get what you pay for. The band itself is hard plastic, so calling it soft silicone is total false advertising. The paint starts chipping off the buckle after a few weeks of wear. I have a nickel allergy and this is only good until the paint chips off the buckle because the cheap metal causes an instant allergic reaction. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Meh...not as good as the ratings. *by N***Y on Reviewed in the United States on August 17, 2019* Meh. I thought the product would be a decent cheap replacement for my worn Fitbit Alta HR band, but I was disappointed.First, not that this makes a difference, but the top and bottom are opposite what the original band is. The side with the clasp is shorter than the original side with the clasp. Not a huge deal, but annoying if you are used to the old band.Next, the quality of the material is WAY different. This one is more stiff than the original band. Once again, not a big issue, but, it actually caused me some random pain (it rubbed my are differently than the original band) it also pulled the hair on my arm, which the original band did not do.Between the stiffness, the rubbing of my arm because of the material it was made of and, the different size, I am highly disappointed with this.
