I bought it because of its solid look and quality finish. I did not notice any inordinate odor. There was a brief varnish smell that dissipated before I had finished assembling the unit. Assembly was simple and straight forward. I would recommend this item to anyone looking for a solid, well made and well finished end table. Review: Strong chemical smell - This night stand has a strong chemical kind of smell. I actually moved it across the room for a couple of days hoping the smell would subside, but it didnt. Then I put it outside for a month...very little improvement. The smell is so bad that it makes me feel sick. ☹ ## Features - Handcrafted with care using the finest quality solid wood - Hand-finished with a Honey Brown stain and protective NC lacquer to accentuate and highlight the grain and the uniqueness of each piece of furniture - Features two (2) spacious drawers and open bottom storage area - Includes brushed nickel drawer pulls and metal drawer glides - Can also be used in living or family rooms as end or side tables; Style features square tapered legs and square edged table top ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07DD76NRQ | | Base Type | Rectangle | | Brand | SIMPLIHOME | | Brand Name | SIMPLIHOME | | Color | Honey Brown | | Customer Reviews | 3.7 out of 5 stars 8 Reviews | | Finish Types | brushed, lacquer | | Frame Material | Wood | | Frame Material Type | Wood | | Furniture Finish | Nickel | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00840469037571 | | Included Components | Bedside Table | | Item Dimensions | 24.02 x 15.98 x 25.98 inches | | Item Dimensions D x W x H | 24"D x 16"W x 26"H | | Item Weight | 34 pounds | | Manufacturer | Simpli Home, Ltd. | | Manufacturer Part Number | AXWSH-BS-HB | | Material Type | Pine | | Maximum Weight Recommendation | 35 pounds | | Model Name | Warm Shaker Solid Wood | | Model Number | AXWSH-BS-HB | | Number of Drawers | 2 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Product Dimensions | 24"D x 16"W x 26"H | | Room Type | Bedroom, Living Room | | Shape | Rectangular | | Special Features | Storage | | Style Name | Rustic | | Table Design | Nightstand | | Top Material Type | Wood | | UPC | 840469037571 | ## Product Details - **Brand:** SIMPLIHOME - **Frame Material:** Wood - **Item Weight:** 34 Pounds - **Maximum Weight Recommendation:** 35 Pounds - **Product Dimensions:** 24"D x 16"W x 26"H ## Images ![SIMPLIHOME Bedford SOLID WOOD Universal TV Media Stand, 53.9 inch Wide, Living Room Entertainment Center, Storage Cabinet with Glass Doors, for Flat Screen TVs up to 60 inches in Dark Tobacco Brown - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81OBJFNaxSL.jpg) ![SIMPLIHOME Bedford SOLID WOOD Universal TV Media Stand, 53.9 inch Wide, Living Room Entertainment Center, Storage Cabinet with Glass Doors, for Flat Screen TVs up to 60 inches in Dark Tobacco Brown - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91PoV-WuveL.jpg) ![SIMPLIHOME Bedford SOLID WOOD Universal TV Media Stand, 53.9 inch Wide, Living Room Entertainment Center, Storage Cabinet with Glass Doors, for Flat Screen TVs up to 60 inches in Dark Tobacco Brown - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61H+wMGKrDL.jpg) ![SIMPLIHOME Bedford SOLID WOOD Universal TV Media Stand, 53.9 inch Wide, Living Room Entertainment Center, Storage Cabinet with Glass Doors, for Flat Screen TVs up to 60 inches in Dark Tobacco Brown - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/819blK2nYnL.jpg) ![SIMPLIHOME Bedford SOLID WOOD Universal TV Media Stand, 53.9 inch Wide, Living Room Entertainment Center, Storage Cabinet with Glass Doors, for Flat Screen TVs up to 60 inches in Dark Tobacco Brown - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81D2x-ap+gL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Looks great, smells like new. *by D***D on January 18, 2020* I almost did not purchase this end table due to the reviews stating its' strong smell. I actually moved it across the room for a couple of days hoping the smell would subside, but it didnt. Then I put it outside for a month...very little improvement. The smell is so bad that it makes me feel sick. ☹ ### ⭐⭐ The Smell is toxic *by G***T on September 13, 2019* If you are not able to handle putting together something with many pieces this is not for you. Also, the smell is terrible and seems toxic to me. Put them together and put them outside. Very, very strong and I do not believe healthy for you. I am afraid it is formaldehyde. Really at a loss on what to do with them. They are outside. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hr/products/119240269-simplihome-bedford-solid-wood-universal-tv-media-stand-53-9](https://www.desertcart.hr/products/119240269-simplihome-bedford-solid-wood-universal-tv-media-stand-53-9) --- *Product available on Desertcart Croatia* *Store origin: HR* *Last updated: 2026-10-16*
