They are quick growing :) They give beautiful green grass and the standard of the grass in terms of durability is excellent. I am not a keen gardener. I was given the tip to scatter a bit of compost ( I had bare patches to disguise) on top if you are in danger of birds picking them all off. But found they succeeded even without this for the hardly bare patches. Also - new seeds need water!!!! So I was really good about watering them every day. As I say - for a non-gardener like me, or a good gardener.
