I found it hard to find new ones that were (1) really cute, (2) versatile in terms of color, (3) had some kind of handle or tab to help her pull them on, and (4) affordable. These fit the bill in every area.As soon as they arrived, my kindergartener loved them, and was so amused by the "tails." They're great with leggings (pink, purple, yellow, or turquoise) and the color is true to what I see on the monitor. They seem to be of good quality and comfortable. I like that they're lined with fabric, unlike her last pair of rain boots (which were just vinyl inside and out). The mermaids and other sea life/objects are not printed right on the boots, but apparently glued on, which gives it a little bit of a 3D effect. My preschooler is crazy about mermaids and had refused to wear any boots before these. Now, she happily wears these at school on rainy days. The back tail used to pull the boots on fell off both boots very quickly, but hasn't really changed the function on the shoe. I love that the design is different on both boots.
