This memory fiber filling pillow really holds up way better than any of my other memory foam pillows. It’s very comfy and super fluffy. Most importantly, it’s light weight enough to toss and turn with it as I’m a side sleeper. Since the bamboo cover is removable and washable, I decided not to use my own cover because I love the way it feels when I buried my face in it. The cover texture is very soft and cooling as advertised. Is actually much "fluffier". So as for giving much support, no. I am a lighter build and still it swuishes between my knees to very thin.
