You take off the tape cover and you carefully apply them to the handles. The two front ones are different in that they have a key hole *even though the right passenger door doesn't have one*. I found that slightly holding it open from the top and bottom, allows you to more precisely install them. The red color matches very well to the grille inserts I bought as well. They look great. Not sure how easy it would be to remove if I needed or decided, however they've stayed on well and haven't faded color.
