We contacted the company that manufactures it and they sent the part. So I'm redoing my review because they sent me what I needed in order to be able to actually set up the cat tree without any hassle. Though I'm going to keep my original review below this one but you can pretty much disregard it.The cat tree is sturdy it appears to be made out of better materials than any of our other 10 cat trees by different brands. The hardware itself is significantly better than most hardware. The platforms the house everything is very solid. The fabric it's made out of is a little bit fluffy and probably will fluff up even more over time. I can tell it's one of those fabrics that's pretty easy to get stains out of as well which is nice. Assembly wasn't difficult but there was an issue with the house attaching to the board. The holes were not drilled in the right location for us to attach the house the way the instructions told us to. However we were still able to attach the house in what we feel will be a sturdy way though it is kind of making the majority of the weight of the cat tree on one side because the house is no longer in the central position and therefore the cat branch I suppose that's attached to the house is also not in the central position. I don't know if the instructions were incorrect or the board was drilled wrong or we got the wrong part which was not the missing part the missing part we had was the base so it's not that. But anyway it does seem to work and if horse comes to worse we can easily drill a hole through to add a second attachment to the house. However what we really can't do without drilling multiple holes is centralize the cat house. I do believe it'll work fine. But I did take a star off for that.I'm fairly certain if I told them that the house and the board that it is supposed to attach to do not attach because The holes in the cat tower and the holes on the platform don't match up no matter how you try they would probably send me whatever I needed to fix that but at this point we just want our cats to have their cat tree.We don't know if it will be sturdy we don't know if it will be easy to assemble we don't know anything because it's missing the very first part that you need to assemble it the base literally part a. I will update the review if we receive the part. Otherwise it seems like a really nice cat tree very solid pieces soft thick fluffy carpet. My cats absolutely would love it if they could use it right now ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great quality, not all cats will be able to reach the upper perch or may be willing to try the hammocks *by G***N on Reviewed in the United States on January 19, 2018* My cats love it but they can't get to the top, it isn't designed well for that for older or larger cats. We removed the upper hammock and put the upper level shelf where the hammock had been. That works much better for our cats. A wider base would have made this more stable although it is okay as is, it shakes a bit as the cats descent which scares them. Best quality cat tree we have owned and we have had a number of them through the years. I suspect that a kitten could easily get to the top level. Neither of our cats use either hammock. Again, a kitten might. Our cats are 12-ish and 16. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My Pets Love It!! *by A***L on Reviewed in the United States on January 3, 2014* this is great! my cat (about 8lbs) and my dog that thinks shes a cat (bout 5 lbs) both love playing on this. the platforms are spaced perfectly for my dog to get up into the house. i picked this model because my cat was climbing the curtains trying to get up high, and I thought my dog would make use of the hammock. It turned out she could climb up it. my cat no longer climbs on things shes not supposed to. all in all, I love it. it is covered with a thick sherpa like fabric, which i was concerened wouldn't hold up but after i got it saw it was almost as thick as carpet that normally covers these towers. puting it together was simple too. its only drawback is, although it is sturdy, it shakes a bit, but i am confident its not going to topple over.
