I searched desertcart for replacement OEM parts and found this product instead. Once installed, I was blown away. The light was so bright and pleasant that I feel these assemblies are much better than the original parts. There are two license plate assemblies that come in the package. The package is a simple box with each assembly individually covered inside. There are no bulbs in the assembly as these are LEDs. Each assembly has a short wiring harness with a connector that fits into the bulb socket. This assembly design is a better design because the the bulb sockets in my car had indicators of being exposed to extreme heat from the bulbs. There should be no extreme heat problems with this LED design. The LED assemblies fit into the car opening with a just a little bit of difficulty. It is important to make sure that the license plate wiring harness and the LED light assembly harness are both tucked out of the way so that the assembly can be pushed into place.
