I like that you are able to remove springs depending on the strength you need for your bed. We left all of them in for our queen sized mattress. But if you watch some videos on YouTube and use some spare wood to test out the swing radius, the part works pretty well. I did the research and my dad and husband did the labor. We did a horizontal queen Murphy bed, total cost around $300 (not including the mattress). We had some material laying around so it wasn’t all brand new. You can adjust the tension in the springs, it doesn’t help much for the initial lifting of the bed but it definitely keeps it up against the wall.
