I love this soap! Last year, I was in France and loved the olive oil soap in my hotel room. Foolishly, I didn’t buy any to bring home. I decided on this Pre de Provence bar and it’s very close to the bar soap in my hotel room. There is really no scent, except a very faint olive oil. Have always loved this brand of soap since first using it in France years ago. The patchouli is light but very authentic. It seems to keep the bugs away from me during the summer!! it does not dry your skin out at all, it’s very balanced and it’s not harsh at all. I am certain that it can be used on babies. I think it’s actually organic and used with olive oil. It foams very nicely, not over the top like some toxic brands do. The bar is very big and thick so it lasts a good while. It is pricier than most bars of soaps, but I’d rather use soap and put something on my body that’s natural and doesn’t have toxic ingredients that cause sicknesses. Absolutely love it.
