They were adequate for stopping power on flat terrain. When going down steep rough trails I didn’t feel I had adequate breaking control. Jumping up to the 203mm rotors made a world of difference along with Shimano Ice Tech technology which helps keep overheating down. Don’t feel like the down hills are potential suicide missions any longer.
