Scotts MossEx 3-in-1 Ready-Spray is a fast-acting formula that effectively controls mosses, algae, lichens, and liverworts. Apply Scotts MossEx 3-in-1 Ready-Spray on lawns, ornamental gardens, around homes and on roofs, patios, decks, sidewalks, and more (as listed). This moss control product can be used at any time during the year; however, best results are obtained with actively growing moss in the spring or fall. To apply, simply connect the sprayer to a garden hose, turn on the water, and spray, keeping it moving for an even application. Do not use on lawns when temperature exceeds 85°F. Yeah, it was pretty mossy. This moss killer works. I used it pretty liberally coverage-wise. Everything went brown and sort of dried up. I then used a hose spray and a broom to get the dead stuff off. Insurance company was then happy.

Keep and eye on the side where you can see the liquid levels. So this worked out for me. Also, the hose end sprayer is not intended to be refillable. It is not threaded and cannot be twisted off. But with a flat head screwdriver you can pry the locking tabs to open it up and refill it. I chose to refill it with liquid lawn fertilizer and still works without leaks.

Product empties extremely fast and thereby does not cover as much area as you would expect. Keep and eye on the side where you can see the liquid levels. But I only needed this on some small moss spots in my lawn and all the moss turned yellow the next day and is starting to turn brown and die within a week, and the grass is still green. So this worked out for me. Also, the hose end sprayer is not intended to be refillable. It is not threaded and cannot be twisted off. But with a flat head screwdriver you can pry the locking tabs to open it up and refill it. I chose to refill it with liquid lawn fertilizer and still works without leaks.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Killed the moss on my VersaCourt Tennis Court, but took a few days to be sure

We have a VersaCourt Tennis court and after spring and now heavy rainfall lots of moss. You need a garden hose to spread the spray, but it's easy to attach and the switch built into the container works perfectly. It take up to 3 days for the moss to turn brown. Once brown, the moss is clearly dead. It might need less than three days if it didn't rain every day. It ain't cheap, and perhaps ferrous sulfate a cheaper product might work as well but we were reluctant to try it on the plastic tile surface as the instructions on the product say it's for lawns not hard surfaces.
