Review: Great rod for the value - I have had this rod for a couple of months. This thing is great, It has the perfect sensitivity and it is not too flimsy. Through my experience I have banged the tip of this rod and dropped it countless times due to my clumsiness and not a single eyelet was bent or broken. It has also been dragged through mud due to a fish taking it under and when it was pulled up it was like nothing happened. The only thing I've noticed is minimal rust around the eyelets. For 60 dollars I truly think this is one of the best rods for the value. It has caught me so many different fish and my 8lbs Catfish PB.

After fighting a 22# king salmon with it last year and heaving as hard as I could without breaking my rod, I was impressed with the quality. I wanted a lightweight spinning outfit for casting lures for striped bass. I decided on the 7'6" medium action Perigee II so I could get a good fight and finesse the fish in with light tackle. Last night I got a run for my money and hooked into a 40 incher. It was only the second fish I had fought in the rod after catching a 28" fish earlier in the night. It handled that monster with no problem at all. The rod passed the test for me. I'd recommend to anyone looking for an excellent rod at a bargain price. It's not the price of the rod it's how you use it.

Fishing pole is nice and a good purchase. It feels like it won't come apart easily, seeing as it is a 2-piece pole. While casting, pole was not heavy and it felt like I had complete control of the pole.
