We love the softness in the durability. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Really wanted to like it *by A***N on June 27, 2019* This pillow is a 1/3 the price of other popular backpacking pillows, and it's even a bit larger in size. There are little grippy dots on one side which help with traction on a sleeping pad. The pillow itself is comfortable. It seemed like it would be a great choice, and I really wanted to like it. Unfortunately from the very beginning the pillow has had trouble keeping air. If I fully inflate it, and don't even use it afterward, it will deflate on its own within a few hours. To test that I fully inflated it last night and left it on the floor unused. By this morning, about 1/3 to 1/2 the inflation was gone. Very disappointed. My sleeping pad, by contrast, will stay full inflated for a very long time without any issue. Edit: free replacement was sent out and after inflating this a single time it has retained the air for the past 7 days with use. I'll change the review to 5 stars later if nothing goes wrong, and to 3 stars if another slow leak begins. One thing Trekology recommended was to not inflate it forcefully as far as it will go, which I might have done initially. This one is slightly less inflated than it could be but it still is nice and firm with some give, and is holding up fine. It provides excellent neck support comparable to a cushioned neck pillow, so that solves one major issue for me. I'll say this, though, the grippy "dots" or whatever do hardly anything and the pillow will slide around easily on an inflatable sleeping pad unless the strap is used to secure it around the pad.
