Be aware that you need to tack it down every couple of feet - I used "staples" made of wire coat hangers. At first I didn't use enough staples and the mower sucked it up and chopped a piece out of it. **Q: Could you notch it to form a circle or oval around tree?** A: I suppose you could notch it, but it would take quite a few notches and I don't think the circle wouldn't be very "round". The garden mulch mat can be bent horizontally as shown in the picture, but only a bit. It's too stiff to be formed into a tighter circle without cutting. **Q: I have rounded corners in my landscape. Does the mulch curve?** A: As long as the curve isn't too sharp, it's fine. I use it on curves with no problem.
