Definitely sensory friendly. The dress has 4 layers, the inside layer is a soft comfortable cottony layer, no scratchy seams. I was so surprised how soft the lace is! When my toddler first saw it she said scratchy? But once she felt it and put it on she refused to take it off. We purchased the 24 month size, my toddler usually wears a 3T, the length was perfect but it was a little loose on top. We were able to tighten it a bit in the back by tying the sash so it worked out fine. It did come with a cute little lace bonnet but we didnt end up using it. I felt like it was the perfect length. The fabric feels like good material. You have to be a little careful with the zipper in the back to make sure it doesn’t suck in the light underdress. I was very happy with this purchase and would by this again. The only thing to note is that the material is not stretchy. I got a 0-3 month and it fit my large baby at 12lbs 24inches when she was 2 months with some room to spare. I put her in it again at 3 months and she still fit just fine.
