Without inflating the upper pillow section, it fit perfectly in the back of an SUV with the wheel wells. Luckily the upper and lower portions inflate separately otherwise it wouldn’t have fit. I would imagine you could inflate both the pillow and bed portion if you were using this in a full-size pickup or if you removed the rear seats.The mattress stays inflated for several days which really surprised me. Most mattresses I’ve tried deflate in a night. You can tune it to your comfort. Either very stiff or a little more soft depending on how much air you add. You also have the option to just inflate a single side in case you need more room for gear. So it works as a 1 or 2 person mattress.
