(I posted a video and photo) So I’ve been using this product since I was probably a teenager and I’m 43.I always referred to it as ”sand soap” because that’s the perfect description but I don’t get any irritation i might get from actual beach sand.I’ve tried another one that had exfoliating miniature balls but they were too smooth to help. These little sand particles have the right amount of roughness to work but not harm.❤️Doesn’t sting my face during or after the process.I have very pale, combination sensitive skin and parts did get dry and flakey. This is the only thing that instantly gets rid of those dry parts for days. They have a version for sensitive skin that is much gentler, but I prefer the scrubbing action. I have tried cleaners with micro beads and all the fancy terms, but none of them left my skin feeling fresh and clean as this product from St. Ives. I also use their oatmeal and shea butter shower gel.
