Inexpensive tweeters that fit my dash well. *by M***R on January 9, 2018* Fits nicely in the corner dash position of my 2017 Forester. I used these with some bass blocking capacitors at 1.2kHz, stuffed some sound deadening fabric behind them in the dash hole and plugged up any nearby holes with metal tape. They sound excellent with the sound bouncing off the windshield toward me. I also installed some Rockford Fosgate 3-way 6x9's in the doors and together the sound is excellent. These small speakers add detail and presence to the higher frequencies, and beat the hell out of the $100 option from Kicker as the standard upgrade for Subarus. I'm sure the Kickers fit better and have the right connection out of the box, but with a little DIY ingenuity I got equal performance for $85 less.
