So we bought this and now we've decided that it's not going to work for one thing the recliner lever sticks so far out that you run into it with your leg and that causes more harm to your body I have bruises on my shins from running into it too many times. I should not get injured from it. It does not go flush up against the chair like it's supposed to. The other thing is is that when you do recline it you have to use both feet to be able to push down on the foot part to push it back in the upright position as you're moving the lever at the same time in order for it to get into the up right position and if you're having knee surgery this is not going to work. Do they think that people that are old have extra strength and that they can do these things. I have a recliner that when you pull the lever back it puts the chair back in the upright position without any extra energy that you need to use. This chair is a joke. It's nice that it has the pockets on the arms and it's nice that it has the cup containers but that's all it's good for as far as the reclining part it's not worth it when you're exhausted from the end of the day you don't feel like making a workout. This chair is a joke. I would never recommend anyone to buy it. Per the picture, there is a button to recline- I received a lever which is what I was trying to avoid. (Pets, plus it’s near a door way, so I didn’t want anyone to run into it.) Also, the lever just slides into a cut they made into the fabric, so over time that will tear further.The chair is MUCH smaller than I expected, and it’s somewhat hard.
