## Questions & Answers

**Q: How do I use the folding stiffening pole?**
A: The pole is very similar to a tent pole. It is three pieces held together by a stretchable band. Simply unfold it and insert the ends into each other until it is one long stick. Then on the flag there is one end that has a Velcro flap. Insert the pole through that end, through the sleeve and into the other sleeve. Then close the Velcro flap. Mount the flag so that the Velcro flap and pole are pointing upwards rather than downwards for maximum impact.  That's it!

**Q: Can the be attached to a tow line that snorkeler uses so the flag moves as the snorkel moves?**
A: Ideally you would attach it to a hard or soft float, but you will need a counter weight under the float to keep it vertical.

Search Dive Float for ideas of what to look for. Most come with regulation flags.

**Q: How long is the pole assembled?**
A: This item does not come with a pole. I made mine out of an old brook handle and put it in a rod holder on my T-top.

**Q: Aside from using it from diver below marking or on boats, can this product be attached to car antenna?**
A: You could attach it to an antenna through the grommets if you wanted to but it may be a little big to drive with. Using the stiffening pole in windy conditions is not recommended.
