And I mean it really writes nice and smooth as well too! High-rise a lot in my job and at home and I'm very picky about what are used to write with! This one is FABULOUS! I don't think these are Swarovski crystals. But then again, I didn't expect that they would be, for this price. And the color is closer to Emerald than Teal. What bothers me is that Amazon allows this kind of false advertising to go on without doing anything about it. However, I doubt they have anyone on their staff that can tell the difference between authentic Swarovski crystals and knock-offs. Anyway, the pen is pretty, if you don't examine the crystals too closely, and it will do for now. I had an authentic Swarovski pen, but somehow it disappeared and I don't want to put out $30 or so for another one. It writes reasonably well, and the little protective case is a nice touch. I wish I could give it a better review, but unfortunately, after two months of very light use (I used it twice for journal writing), the pen fell apart in my hands. The inner spring broke, and would no longer keep the point of the pen in place, and the pen became utterly unusable. I don't want to throw it away, because it's so pretty, and I'm hoping that I will be able to somehow fix it. But, I can't recommend it because it is apparently for looks only. Not for actual use. Could be, I just got a bad one, but, this one was terribly, terribly delicate.
