I definitely notice when I forget to use it, just uncomfortable sweaty thighs rubbing. But when I use it, it feels like baby powder smooth and comfortable. It's great because I always wear skirts so my thighs are always touching, and wearing shorts underneath always rides up. I just bought my third tube and they last a while. I also put some in a mini travel bottle to keep in my purse.

**Q: If I use this all over my bottom, and I get gas. Will blow bubbles?**
A: After bubble forms contact with open flame may result in disasster

**Q: Does this butter taste good on toast after a long bike ride?**
A: Truly nothing better than this butter. Just scrape whatever is leftover after the ride and enjoy. You may want to choose a crusty artisan bread as the mass produced garbage simply doesn't do. Go for a spelt, as the nuttiness brings out all of the tones that you want out of this stuff - simply sublime.

**Q: Do you think this could also be used by runners? How does it work in areas with skin to skin contact?**
A: I have used it while competing in an adventure races, where I've ran, biked, and canoed. The races are lengthy, and I've found that the Chamois Butt'r holds up well for a few hours.  I apply it along the seam-line of my shorts, underwear, and have even put in on my shoulders because I was hauling a pack.  In general, and more to your question, the skin to skin places are where it does the best.  I'd be well worth your money to try it. They make some on-the-go little packs of probably less than an ounce that I've seen in bike shops, which is what I'd recommend if you were really hesitant about going all in with a larger bottle.

**Q: If they area is already chaffed, is it a good idea to put some on the affected area?**
A: I've never had any problem doing that.  On 2+ week self-supported bicycle tours, where rubbing/rashes are sometimes unavoidable, I clean the entire crotch area with baby wipes, then applied the Chamois Butt'r with CLEAN HANDS.  It works great.  I wouldn't try it if there were open sores or deep abrasions--at that point I'd be talking to my doctor.  But the Chamois Butt's has never contributed to chaffing, or caused it to worsen.

This is absolutely the best stuff I've ever used for inner thigh chafing for my long hikes/walks. I used to use Vaseline regularly, and while it works very well, it absolutely destroys your clothes. This butter works just as well, if not better than Vaseline, and it leaves behind no buildup and no residue and easily washes right out of your clothes as if it was never there in the first place. Forget about baby powders, Vaseline, and rub-on sticks because they melt in the heat because most of those are oil-based. Don't bother with those "tape-on" stickers for inner thighs either because those fall right off anyway. This water-based butter will not melt in the heat, so you can take it with you in any weather condition and apply it at any time. It's perfect and it's exactly what I've been looking for. Seriously, don't bother with any other products and don't mess around with spandex as a base layer or any other goofy scheme, just get this stuff right now.
