Most laptops these days have one combined input for both mic and headset. The receiver in this product needs a mic jack, not the combined jack, for it to receive audio input via the jack. So without an extra mic adapter that does not come with this product, I don't see how you can feed your audio instructions into live music. **Q: Does this device work with a Microsoft Surface?** A: I have not been able to make it work with any device even after following all the instructions and advice I could find. I was able to use it to record a video in Screen-Casto-matic but when I tried to use the device as a microphone to come out in the speakers in one of the classrooms, it didn't work. **Q: Will this device work with a Bluetooth speaker?** A: If the speaker has a mic input then it should work.
