Very dark black tacky resin that smells like rubber. It's definitely very firm and needs to be somewhere warm to help soften it before use. I placed mine in my pocket for about 20 minutes. Then I put a dose in warm water and it melted easily. The water was a brownish color. It definitely tastes like a mineral supplement. I felt the effects right away. I swished it and held it in my mouth to give it some time to be absorbed under my tongue before I swallowed it. I noticed the effects almost immediately. I just felt like a flush of warmth and it gave me sustained energy for the entire afternoon. I blended enough to take to work with me and drank the rest of it around 3:00. It gave me sustained energy throughout the evening. I was surprised by how warm it made my body feel, how clear it made my head feel, and it actually soothed my digestive system and I felt like I could get a nice deep breath. It calmed my anxiety also. My only suggestion for the seller would be to mark the metal spoon with a line so that people know how much is serving size is. I don't generally know what 250 mg looks like.
