These unlike aragonite frag plugs do not need to be cured. They are fired at over 2000 degrees for several hours. This prevents any ph spikes that are common from aragonite frags that usually are never fully cured leading to a major die off in your tank. These frag plugs are great for mounting Birdsnest, Montipora, Xenia, Acropora. They have shown to promote coralline algae growth and corals. They are all black colored with 3/4" crowns and a stem diameter that's 3/8". Yes that's correct being 3/4" tops these will fit side by side in egg create without the need to skip any holes. They sit approximately 3/4" tall. We have designed our plugs to have a more natural look once placed in a rock or crevice with curves to flow with the natural rock work. Will never need to buy another companies 3/4' plugs. These work better then the slanted ones with wholes as well imo. The hole in the middle is perfect for Acro Sticks. I have attached 3 photos, a close up of the plug, a pic of acros mounted to the plugs as well as the plugs by themselves. When you first get them, they are faded and not 100% black so don't be alarmed. You need to get them wet or put them in your tank and then they turn black. I also attached a photo of the plugs half that are dry like they come and the other half wet with RO water to show the color difference. The rep/owner Ryan has been more then helpful answering any and all questions. I have bought from ReefCreators multiple times before on other items like the 3" tiles and 3" disks but these plugs are by far the best I have found on the market! Will be buying this for now one. Seller is definitively A+ and great with communication.
