I went off of previous reviewers for which size to get, because usually I’m a M. I wanted something to cover my belly, for a upcoming camping at the end of June where we go swimming in the river. The sleeves are loose, the material is soft, and fits perfect for me. The sun will be blazing down, and previous times others I go with get burned unless they were a swim shirt/rash guard. So hopefully this will work. I *loved* having this hoodie on and the bright print made it easy to find me. I could cover my head and not worry about my neck and scalp being burned. Because it extends into a dress you can wear it into restaurants, etc. I also got one that zipped which I liked that feature better, but this worked great. I'm 5'4" and 170# and finding suits that fit is hard, I highly recommend the water hoodie as an alternative to that horrible experience. I used exercise shorts mostly but it would have been better to use board shorts. I wore a suit under a couple times, but glad I didn't wear it later in the week😁.
