But... *by I***A on August 17, 2016* I received these shoes and was excited to receive them. They were packaged well and fit perfectly. However the opening that sits above my toes was not consistent on both shoes. The left shoe is not a U shape but is more like an angled J shape. Apparently something went wrong when they cut the pattern to make this shoe. Also the front top part of the shoe does not sit on my foot, its high enough to put my finger in the shoe! (See pictures) If they were handmade, someone made a mistake. I contacted the company and have not heard from them now I'm stuck with a $40 pair of shoes that just look ridiculous! This may not happen when you order, but just know that you're taking a chance.Update: great customer service! they sent me a second pair, however they were tighter than the first pair, I'm giving them 4 starts for the effort but maybe larger sizes (11) isn't their expertise. The top front of the shoe does not sit on my skin, it sits too high, I can put a finger in the space.
