She has tried several other sun hats, but none worked to her satisfaction in breezy/windy conditions. I bought this hat for her and she loves it. It is comfortable, has a strap to hold it in place in the wind and the brim is wide enough for excellent sun protection, yet stiff enough so it does not flap around in windy conditions. She also likes that the side vents help her head stay cool on long walks in the Arizona sun.
