I guess it'll take some time until they learn the fountain is better!There's a little window in the container so that you can see whether it needs to be refilled, and it is illuminated by a blue LED. I was expecting it to be a bit noisy, but it is remarkably quiet if you keep the tank relatively full. Once it drops to under half way, it makes a trickling sound as though the cistern is running - it's a good reminder that it needs refilling, but it doesn't bother me at all.It's also easy to clean - in all I'm pretty impressed :) ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good value and works well. *by J***. on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 9 November 2019* We have two cats and their previous fountain stopped working, I bought them this one. It's reliable, doesn't need topping up all the time and the blue light is quite useful as a nightlight.There was a problem - Henry likes to drink from a pool of water, and when he tried to drink from the basin, the water from the flower fell on his head. He didn't like this one bit but fortunately, the flower part is detachable. I pulled it out so the water just bubbles up in the centre and he's happy to use it now.BTW, if it gets noisy, it needs to be topped up.For the money, I think it's very good. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Instant Winner *by I***N on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 10 November 2019* My cats loves this. One of my cats started drinking so much I actually checked with the vet that she was okay! (She is fine)Really easy to clean you just have to be careful with the wire. Holds enough water for a week for my two cats and the water keeps clean and fresh. I clean it properly every month or so as the filter does a great job of keeping it clean and just rinse it off each week.There's no real noise to the pump, the water gets noisy when it starts to get low but it's a handy reminder to top it up, when it's more than half full it doesn't make a sound. The blue light is quite bright so at night it is like a blue night light.
