Review: After a long and exhaustive search, THESE ARE IT! Love love love - esp for long work days! A+ - I had to write a review on these after my normally cranky/complainy over insoles hub nearly drove me to madness with the constant whining! Yes I understand long days on your feet suck and it's important to care for your feet / back etc (and have a lot of compassion for that stamina, as I can't do more than 3 minutes of "labor" :) but I literally bought TONS AND TONS of high end insoles and changed them out constantly with zero success. Not only does that get expensive, but handling sweaty/stinky inserts all the time takes a little bit of your soul one sole at a time (groan!) We tried Sof Sole, Air Plus, Spenco Work, and a handful of other "work insoles" - the Spenco ones were not terrible, but he still had foot pain after long days and never really said anything great about them. AND THEN THESE CAME INTO OUR LIVES! I have not stopped hearing the glowing praise for how amazing they are - we are on the 5th discussion about this, I think, which is amusing if not slightly weird/repetitive. Last night I heard a 3 minute speech how "I'm exhausted, but my feet feel great! No leg pain!" Wohoooo - the spell has been broken. What else can I say but the report is that these give much needed all day (sometimes 12-18 hours) support without being overly bulky (they are somewhat thick, may need to go up a half a size unless your normal shoes are roomy, and especially if you wear thick socks.) He wears these with pretty thick thorlos in a roomy work shoe, and they are great. They are really easy to cut to fit (NOTE - to all the people complaining they don't fit, these, and all insoles in the universe ARE FOR MULTIPLE SIZES - a 10-11 is going to be too big for a 10, and will need a bit of trimming. That's how this works :) It gives a bit of an arch support but is not too thick in that area, so should work with most people's feet. They also don't get as gross/stinky/grimy as many others, I do take them out to wash now and then and they have held up extremely well. A little bit of foot powder helps but dont go overboard, and it's more important to wear a good quality non cotton sock! Kind of ridiculous and amazing that something like an insole has made us so happy, but it's the little things, right? I would pay $25 for a pair any day, but got the last batch from a popular shoe online site with a code and paid under $20 - but they are worth EVERY PENNY of whatever you have to pay for them, and will last longer than cheapie ones. +1 for Timberland! Attached a few pictures - hope they help...buy these now - throw all the others away :) UPDATE: Continue to love these and have bought 2 more pairs! A few notes after reading some complaints on these: They are NOT sports insoles - not meant for sharp and sudden movements/activity, which I think some people said they used them for and they didn't hold up - I'd stick with a sports insole for those activity for sure. I saw a photo of someone's very worn out ones apparently after afew months and couldn't believe it - DH goes through 18 hour work days and they never look even half that bad after a long time. Of course if you do wear them every day and do hard, long, hours and/or handle very heavy things they would wear quicker. In that case 3-4 months isn't too bad of a life span for insoles...and with custom orthotics being $500-$800, $25 3-4 times a year is still really inexpensive for the relief they give... For Plantar Fasciitis, you need a very suppportive/firm higher arch (I've been through this and it sucks, I feel your pain!) I'd recommend the "Powerstep Pinnacle Premium Orthotic Shoe Insoles, Flexible Cushioning, Perfect For Alleviating Foot Pain" ones - they have helped my PF SO much and are very comfortable (there is an original version but those don't have the layer of cushion on top and I felt they were very hard.) The Timberland Pro ones do not have enough arch support for PF though, so wouldn't really help for that issue. Hope this helps!
Review: Using in Thorogood Boots? Check Out My Review - To prefix this review, I am a 31 year old, 220lb dude, with moderate to high arches, using these in some moc toe style, EE sized (Extra wide toe box is what EE stands for), Thorogood Boots. Most of my time working 8+hours on concrete in a warehouse. Why such expensive boots don’t come with inserts like this amaze me. And let me tell you, these make a huge difference. My joints were hurting. Knees, hips, and then my back started to hurt. My feet always ached as the symptoms progressed up my body. As someone who spent my ch of my youth as a semi pro powerlifter, I know the human body. The body is a chain. You have a problem at your feet? It will only get worse and will domino effect up through your body unless you start some form of physical therapy and treat the root of the problem. In many cases, it starts at your feet. So I swapped my inserts out with these (having owned a pair of timberland boots before, I knew from experience they were the most comfortable boot I ever wore and what actually converted me to wearing boots in the first place). I figured I’d give them a try after doing research on what people recommended and dang I’m glad I followed through on these. I expected some kind of break in period, nope. These got the trial by fire 12 hour shifts on my first week in them. No break in needed. These worked great after cutting them to the size of the boot (used my old insert as a stencil to cut these). It was easy to do and I noticed an immediate difference. No more back pain, knee pain, or foot pain. It was always an ache at the end of the day. Now the ache doesn’t exist. These worked wonders for me. I will exclusively be buying these inserts for life as long as the quality of these soles does not degenerate. Good work Timberland, my feet thank you.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What Size should I get for my 9.5 Timberland Pros? Is it better to go with the 10-11 or the 8-9?**
A: I can confirm that the 8-9M US insole WILL fit size 9.5 Timberland Pros just fine. I have 9.5W Timberland Pro Pitboss boots fitted with the medium (8-9) anti fatigue insole. The portion of the insole in front of the arch is oversized and will need to be trimmed. I trimmed about a quarter inch off mine using the original insole as a template.

**Q: How wide are the heel cups in these? would i have issues wearing them with 10.5w caterpillar pull-on work boots?**
A: I'm not sure of the measurement but I used them in my 10w boots with no problems

**Q: Is the insole thick? My boot already fits snug around my foot, but I dont want a thick insole that it chokes my foot.**
A: I took out the old tennis insoles which I felt every rock and then put these in and awesome! No more rocks bruising my feet! But they did not fit in my leather dress shoes, not at all, big and thick and wonderful!

**Q: Will these fit in Dr Martin boots?**
A: Sure, you can trim them to fit any boot. Pull your factory insole out and trace it around the new one and cut to fit with scissors
