My previous Samsung TV had a swivel stand that I use all the time, I was disappointed that most TV's these days don't have these types of stands. The Echogear stand was exactly what I was looking for, and solved this problem!There are a few downsides to this stand. It rotates VERY easily, you need almost no pressure to swivel the TV. This could be a problem if you have young kids. Or could also be pushed too quickly and have your TV hit the wall. For me its not an issue. There doesn't seem to by any adjustment to make the TV more difficult to swivel.It was also a bit strange that the brackets on the back mount horizontally, as opposed to vertically like most other mounts. (although based on the design, I can see why this is needed) However, the brackets are much longer than they need to be, going way past the 300 x 200 VESA pattern on the C9. In my case, the lower bracket sticks out over the TV's network port on the back, making it impossible to plug in a cable. (I had to resort to using the TV's Wifi, which works fine) This could be an issue on some TV's that have HDMI jacks in the rear, as it could block them. If your TV has side HDMI ports, you'll be fine.Lastly, the Pole in the middle is metal, but the bottom pedestal of the stand is plastic. The metal post does screw into a hard plastic collar to mate to the pedestal, and it feels sturdy, but I'm slightly worried about it, they should have just made the entire bottom metal.Besides these few quirks, for the price, this stand is fantastic! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Just what I was looking for! (LG 55" OLED CX Series) *by T***S on Reviewed in the United States on March 2, 2021* We just purchased an LG 55" OLED (OLED55CXPUA.) The stand that came with the LG, although quite beautiful and sturdy, didn't allow it to pivot and the stand was so wide I couldn't find a Lazy Susan big enough for it. My prior TV had a smaller stand so I had it on a TV Lazy Susan. Since I am working from home due to COVID it was nice to pivot the set to my living room area to watch TV. I was concerned if this stand would work with the 55" LG and placed an e-mail through their website and received a reply within the hour. Later, prior to purchase I called them with another question and got through to someone immediately who answered my question. The instructions for the ECHOGEAR2 stand are easy to follow if you don't skip or rush through the information. I would DEFINITELY recommend using a decent LEVEL. I found it easier to almost tighten the two horizontal metal bars and then use the level. Once Leveled to tighten the screws. I think the hardest part was making sure that the two horizontal bars were centered so that the metal vertical bar was level as well. Once again, we found to have slightly loose screws so we could adjust all around with the level was best. You definitely need two people to set it on the stand (a third would have been great to help us click it on to our preferred level but we managed!) Discovered I had metal in the wall, so we couldn’t mount our tv. It was hard to find something that wasn’t too big or ugly. This works really well. This is very sturdy, easy to install, and a great alternative to wall hanging without being ugly. The height is adjustable, as is the movement and tilt.
