These are great potholders. They are large enough to cover whatever hot pot you are handling. They are thick enough to protect your hands even from a very hot cast iron pot; yet, they are not so thick that they are hard to wrap around handles. The hanging attachments are sturdy. Finally, I found nice terry pot holders that are pliable and last. I bought these several months ago and will be buying more. My old terry potholders were many, many years old and showing their wear but I couldn't find this traditional style in any stores. All the new styles have silicone, are mitts, or are just too stiff with undesirable material. These are well made and wash up wonderfully. Just what I was looking for.
