The socks have a good thickness. However, the opening is really tight on my baby’s ankles (and he’s a rather long and lean baby at that) and they leave marks. It seems uncomfortable to me. Be warned that because of the patterns and colors, there are lots of strongs in the inside that can get caught in baby’s toes as you put them on. I do like the fun patterns and color combos for my boy. They will probably fit from 18-24 months based on the current fit at 18-months.Construction seems good, and they are not as thin as the other 2 socks listed above (however I would not consider these heavy weight winter outdoor socks). They fit a tad loose, but I didn't want to get the size smaller and him outgrow them in a hot second (he has a pretty long foot for his age).I like the color combo this pack comes with and the grippies work well on our tile floor (see attached pic).The only reason I'm taking off a star is because half of the socks in the pack were attached with those stupid plastic tags.
