Carefully packaged by distributor and took some days longer to arrive than the typical Amazon shipment.Also, be aware that the distressed look is printed atop the grooved tiles. At first, when I reached in the box and pulled out the first tile, I noticed the distressed look was "printed on" and it bothered me, so I contemplated returning them, but then I reasoned that it will be much easier to keep clean without all the cracks and chips.Plus I did an experiment: I laid out 15 tiles on the floor before my husband got home just to see how he would respond and after he walked around the kitchen for about 20 minutes I finally said something to him about the "printed on distress" and he said he did not even notice--and he is one who is particular about details like that.
