I like to have shorts with zip pockets for my mobile when I'm walking the dog. These are nice light and airy shorts with big enough pockets for my mobile so fit the bill nicely. I would imagine they would be decent for running in as well. I have big thighs but there is enough flex for them to be loose and comfortable.

The rear zipped pocket is small, cannot fit my wallet in, or my phone, has no mesh inside, so have to wear boxers underneath, apart from that, I like them.
