I was somewhat taken aback to be sent a VW-VBN390 by the supplier. My first instinct was that this was the wrong battery - being much larger - and that it was impossible to close the LCD monitor with the battery in place. I contacted the supplier who responded immediately to say that this battery was far superior to the 260 (much more powerful) and that it definitely would fit the camera. On my second try, I realised that it fits in a way such that the battery extends beyond the retracted viewfinder - which seems counter-intuitive. One other reviewer commented that this caused a problem with using the viewfinder, but I haven't found it so - although it may be for someone who wears glasses.
