Review: Beautiful Set - This is a fabulous card set. They are beautifully illustrated. On one side of the card you can clearly see what position the hands should take. On the other side, is the name of the mudra along with an affirmation, a short description and a small meditation. It's a really great combination. It can be used as an oracle - pick one card randomly to see what message you need to know at that moment - or you can search for a particular ailment and choose that mudra. The cards are color coded too: orange/red: strength, courage, energy yellow: mental alertness green: inner equilibrium and harmony blue: calm, relaxation violet: transformation, spirituality, change I have Gertrude's book but I find this card deck to be supremely better. It provides everything you need to get started using mudras but I love the extra affirmations and meditations. It's a beautiful addition to my yoga/meditation/spiritual practice!

This is a fabulous card set. They are beautifully illustrated. On one side of the card you can clearly see what position the hands should take. On the other side, is the name of the mudra along with an affirmation, a short description and a small meditation. It's a really great combination. It can be used as an oracle - pick one card randomly to see what message you need to know at that moment - or you can search for a particular ailment and choose that mudra.
