No L at all, so I returned my set. However, if I overlook that as a packing error, the letters themselves were fully backed with magnets, foam letters about 1/4” thick, and includes 2 sets of both upper and lowercase. I was going to use these to work on reading with my 4 year old so we can read Cat, and then swap the uppercase letter easily to teach other -at words, etc. These stuck nicely to my fridge, and the included dry erase board and markers is a bonus.
