The areas that were separated for building, coloring, and pretend play all tossed everywhere. I got this toy because it can be completely taken apart and put back together. It takes time to take apart and put back together leaving less time for destroying other things. The toy helps with hand dexterity by putting the screws into place and using the screwdriver. Having fun learning which pieces can be mixed and which ones can not work. Our child is already learning to be patient because if it does not finish building the toy it does not work well enough to play with. Everyone in our family has been building the toys so it turned into a nice family activity. This toy can also be used to teach body parts, colors, numbers, and shapes.
