I researched on-the-go options and decided this was the best option. I took it with us to the dog park and big 'ole dogs seemed to get the concept, but my little furry buddy would rather pant than drink out of something he doesn't approve of. The only way I could get him to drink out of it was to let him smell a bit of bacon, put it on the very edge of the drinking sleeve and let it "accidentally" drop into the water. He would take in some water while trying to get the bit of bacon, but eventfully snort in disgust at my shameless ruse and turn his back to me. I'm sure this smart gadget will work well for other puppers, but mine will ONLY drink from two approved dispensers with temperate water, in the house.
