I have nipple trauma from my last breastfeeding/pumping excursion (14 years ago we didn't know as much about flange sizes and how to pump without it hurting as we do now, especially since I live in a smaller town with MAYBE one lactation consultant) and this nipple butter has helped with the traumatized and wounded skin so much. It can't heal it, obviously, but by making sure I apply this to it before each pump it not only soothes and hydrates the skin, but it acts as a lubricant for the pump flange so it doesn't pull and damage the skin further. I would say I'd buy it again, but I'm already on my second pot of it so I guess it's obvious I would!
