Review: Worth the money - Love this! The pulley helps tremendously. I work as a tower tech I and have to go below the cell mounts to the antenna. Quick and easy to use. Haven’t had any problems with it yet with and been using it for about 6 Months now. With all my gear I weight about 260lbs.
Review: Easy to use ascender with a pully to make it even easier - I use this ascender on an samson 8mm predator rope and it grabs and hold perfectly but also lets go easily so I can move it up the rope. The addition of the pulley wheel is really helpful in pulling on the tag end of the rope while you are ascending. I use this with a Vergo Trango Belay/Brake device and a knut prusik as a backup. The CT Climbing ascender is the easiest method I've used so far to ascend into trees for saddle hunting.
