To me, they are totally comparable to Kleenex' classic tissues but are a little bit softer. These are two-ply without any lotions added or scents added. To be clear, they are soft like Kleenex are soft. If you ordinarily buy and expect Puffs softness (with or without lotion), you need to know that these are not the same. They are basic. No scent, no uber softness and fluff. They are a good, basic tissue that does the trick for a allergy ridden person that uses a lot of tissues (that would be me).The Amazon purchase in bulk was a great buy.
