The space was overhead and too large for the traditional foam fillers which just failed to stick. This is a two part foam that gets mixed in a nozzle and comes out at some pressure. It sprays out and foams up as it hits the surface. Having used the larger canister kits, this is a good option for small touch up projects. The instructions are straight forward and the setup easy. The trigger and nozzle are not as good quality as the larger kits, but it worked fine and there is a good length of tubing from the cans to nozzle. I would say 70 degrees or above. **Q: I have 3 silver dollar size holes in foam roof does this kit contain everything I need to fix holes compressor and foam and hoses?** A: It does not have a compressor. You don't need one. Kit consists of two separated chemicals under pressure. Hoses are attached to the chemical container and end in a handheld nozzle with which you direct the expanding foam into your holes. **Q: can I use this under the floor pan of a shower base?** A: No. It will expand and move or distort the pan. If the pan isn’t installed yet, try setting it in a gypsum plaster like Stuctolite or a type S mortar. **Q: i have a 2'x2'(x1") repair on a flat foam roof. does it spray evenly + stick to substrates (tar)? it's this or hand mix/spread 2-part foam.** A: I've seen it stick well to epoxy coatings, should be ok on tar. As good as flushing money. *by W***K on December 19, 2019* I've used several of the larger spray foam kits and they have all worked very well. This time I only needed 10 board feet so went with the smaller kit. As soon as I pulled the trigger I could tell something was wrong. Spray was anemic and seemed not to react well. Total coverage was maybe 4 board feet and it did not expand as it should. Figuring it was just a fluke I got a second kit to finish off the project. This was was even worse. One can leaked at the valve and the other wouldn't flow at all - totally useless. Maybe I just got duds and it wouldn't ever happen again. But it's pretty irritating as you can't return these. I could have gotten the same coverage from a 5 dollar can of Loctite foam and instead wasted $100. Guess I'll have to eat this one. Based on this experience, I'd say go with a bigger kit if you need more than 4 board feet of coverage. Those kits have all been super reliable for me. Update: Both these kits came from seller "TheEnergyConscious". Possibly they are allowing the product to freeze somewhere during storage or transport. Or the shipper could be to blame. Who knows.
