I used the heat shields off the old igniter to try and protect the new igniter and so far the replacement is working fine. For how long I don't know, but I wasn't that impressed with the OEM igniter which I replaced about 4 years prior. I am on the fence 3 or 4 stars. I am giving it 4 stars for working at half the price, but will reduce it should it fail quickly.The ignitor failed in August so it lasted only about a year. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great product for price *by S***Y on Reviewed in the United States on February 28, 2020* I purchased this igniter because of the great price and because the picture showed it with the heat sleeve.So beware it does NOT come as pictured which is very misleading and disappointing. My husband was able to reuse from the old one but it was NOT easy but he got it done.Note to the seller: be forth with and up front with the picture. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not as pictured *by L***B on Reviewed in the United States on February 15, 2020* The igniter woked fine for me but the igniter pictured has insulation on the wires, the ingniter I received did not I used the insulation on my old inginter - I cut the plug off but if you dont it would be a proublem.
