Thank you! *by on Reviewed in the United States January 17, 2023* As a complete beginner with a budget airbrush (good, but budget) I tried to use thinned down, conventional acrylic paints in my airbrush. This involved a lot of experimentation with negative results; by the time i got the paints thinned down enough to spray, it was transparent like lightly tinted water. Ain't nobody got time for this. It was hard to be sure if the problem was with me or just a crappy budget airbrush.Know that thinning acrylic paints for use in airbrush is a non-trivial endeavor. Thinning in general reduces the pigmentation density. Additionally, thinning with water works, but changes the attributes of the paints (reduces adherence). Reducing with acrylic base isn't actually thinning the viscosity, it simply reduces the pigmentation density.I ordered these paints and carefully changed the parts on my airbrush to meet the instructions that came with these paints. And it all just worked fine! These paints are perfectly fine for my application (small-medium size 3D-printed models).
