Bought for teen daughter with hip issues, ortho inserts, butter soft, great sole build and slight cuban heel to make it a little sassy. I was surprised to see this is a New Balance elite line; she has been wearing NB tennis shoes for pronation issues, this is a WONDERFUL alternative for women. This is a medium fit, but has a narrow heel, PERFECT for our needs. Wide sizes would not wear the ankle zip or heel of this style well. The 6M size was true to fit, give or take a half size (generally wear 5.5 - 6 M with narrow heel). Ortho pad has a little over pronate build-in and extra cushion on the ball of the heel.
